Jared Leto: Singer, Actor and So Sexy (Biography)

Actor/singer Jared Leto has given proven that actors can really be great performers, his music band has sell millions of copies and his movie performances also have always been so great and did I mention he is so freaking sexy!! Now let’s get to know him a little better.

Jared Joseph Leto was born on December 26, 1971 on Bossier City, Louisiana, His Mother Constantine raised him and his brother Shannon in Colorado, Virginia, Wyoming, Louisiana and when Haiti earthquake happen we found out that he live in Haiti for some time too (at least I found out)

He Studied at Flint Hill School in Virginia then to Emerson Preparatory School in Washington where he graduated in 1989. Jared dreamt of becoming a painter so he enrolled in Philadelphia’ University of the Arts, and acting struck him he moved to the School of Visual Arts in NY.

Ironically his passion for music was what brought him to L.A, but it was acting that became present in his life first as he appeared in the 1992 film Camp Wilder, 1993 Te Torkelsons and everybody remembers his role as the handsome Jordan Catalano along Claire Danes on Mtv’s My so Called Life, 1995 was How to Make an American Quilt, 1996 The Last of the High Kings , 1997 Prefontaine and Switchback, 1998 Basil, urban Legend and The Thin Red Line and on 1999 the Black and White, Fight Club, Girl Interrupted.

On 2000 he starred along Jennifer Connelly in Requiem of a dream you might remember him as Jen’s cocaine junkie beau this performance was what make everybody took notice of the handsome actor.

Also in 2000 he was in Sunset Strip, 2001 Sol Goode, in 2002 Panic Room, Highway. And on 2003 and 2003 he joined Colin Farell in Phone Booth and then in Alexander, OMG! i just remember how incredible hot he looked, Major damage control!!!

On 2005 he was in Lord of War with Nicholas Cage, the next year in Lonely Hearts and then came the preparation for his role as John Lennon killer Mark David Chapman where he gained 65 pounds, I remember seeing him on an interview about how he manage to gained that weight where he recalled that sometimes he would defrost ice-cream and drink it. This year Leto starred as Nemo Nobody in the film directed by Jaco Van Dormael, Mr. Nobody.

As for his music careerJared’s bro started the band in 1998, Jared became he lead singer, guitarist and song writer of 30 seconds to Mars, Shannon in the drums, Tomo Miličević in the keyboards and lead guitar, Matt Wachter the bassist, but he was later replace with Tim Kelleher, Wachter is now with Angels and Airwaves.

As for the name this is what they said in an interview.

“The band’s name actually comes from a thesis that the band found online that was written by a former Harvard professor. And one of the subsections of the thesis was titled ‘thirty seconds to mars and he goes on to talk about the exponential growth of technology that relates to humans and saying that we are quite literally thirty seconds to mars. What it means to us is, we thought it best described our music, in short”.

The Band’s 1st album 30 Seconds To Mars was released on 2002, A Beautiful Life on 2005 and This is War in 2009. As you know the band signed with Virgin Records who sue them alleging that they promised to release three albums, the 30 million law suit was later annulled.

As for Jared Leto romantic life there has been so many rumors about his alleged girlfriends from Claire Danes, to Lindsay Lohan, Scarlet Johansson, Paris Hilton Isabel Lucas, but as far as I know the only confirmed girlfriend he had was Cameron Diaz (1999-2003).
