Mel Gibson To Pay Her Ex-Girlfriend $750,000
In Los Angeles, Mel Gibson will pay $750,000 for his ex-girlfriend and continue providing both of housing and financial support for their young daughter in order to resolve the bitter legal fight following racist and sexist rants being attributed to the actor.
The settlement being disclosed by Wednesday is then intended to end the accusations and bickering which have infused the case being handled in mostly secrete proceedings for more than a year. The Judge Peter Lichtman said. Gibson’s payments to her Russian singer ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva are dependent upon the lasting truce. As part of their agreement, their daughter will be receiving support, which is also equal to what the actor-director provides for his other seven children. The former couple will then split the custody of the girl, who will be turning 2 in late October.
Moreover, Gibson will keep up on paying for the multi-million house that he purchased for Grigorieva and their daughter. The house will then be sold when the girl turned 18 and she will receive all of the proceeds.
As a result, Grigorieva could not pursue any sort of civil case against Gibson and both sides were ordered not to speak or write anything about their relationships or allegations of domestic abuse.
Judge Lichtman said neither of the side could release any audio recordings and apparent reference to the series of rants that were leaked into a certain celebrity website.
“You look like a bitch in heat and if you get raped by a pack of (N-word), it will only be your fault,” the voice is from Grigorieva telling in one tape. “You provoked it. You are provocatively dressed”.
In another snippet, Grigorieva is head for describing how Gibson hit her in the face, and she also questions his manhood. The response: “You know what, you.. (expletive) deserved it!”.
Mel Gibson’s attorneys are still working out in order to finalize his divorce from his wife of about 28 years.
