The leading nominations for MTV’s Video Music Awards, that is going to be held on August 28, 2011 at Nokia Theater of Los Angles, have been announced for this year. According to list, Katy Perry is at the top of VMA awards with nine nominations.

US pop star has expressed her feelings at this historical moment in these words “I have nine nominations. I thought that was a typo or something.
